About the Builder

Rocky Mountain Community Land Trust (RMCLT), a local non-profit, provides affordable housing in El Paso County and City of Colorado Springs.  RMCLT assists limited-income families to become first-time homebuyers and continue as successful homeowners.  Since 1996, the Land Trust has partnered with over 200 families and other non-profits such as Greccio Housing, Partners In Housing and Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity.  The land trust concept (230 organizations across the country) of shared equity creates permanent affordable housing options for future generations.

RMCLT partnered with Challenger Homes for the 2011 Parade.  Challenger Homes has been a Colorado Springs new home builder for over 11 years, providing tremendous value, great quality, and high customer satisfaction in some of Colorado Springs’ most beautiful and desirable neighborhoods.

Together we are building a strong community… one home… one neighborhood at a time!

The Adams was located in School District 20 near employment, shopping, parks and hospitals minimizing commuting costs and travel time.  Compact design standards and front porches work together to establish a walkable, traditional neighborhood and interactive community.

About the Interior Design

Our vision in decorating The Adams was to have a productive, practical and cost effective environment for living to include both work and play.  The open design is perfect for entertaining, while the construction and furnishings are sure to stand up to the challenges of a growing family.  The Adams featured three bedrooms on the second floor, a bonus for affordable housing.  The third bedroom can be used as a studio or den for smaller families.
